This is probably a common sight in private estates, but it does not make the driver of this van any less of an idiot - for blocking the road during a busy peak paeriod, obstructing pedestrians from using the walkway, and forcing them into danger by having them walk around the van.

    I stay in a private estate. It's quite common for vehicle to park like that; But that's due to lack of lots at private estate. Think he's trying to minimize the obstruction to other vehicles by parking on the walkway. Most residents dont use those walkway anyway.

    The only problem i think he's a little too close to the junction.

    Hi yah... I think this van already tried his best to reduce inconvenience. If I really have to stop around there and no choice will do the same. Better then he parked and take up the whole lane.
