This is another WTF! kind of parking. This idiot had the cheek to drive up a kerb and park next to a fire hydrant. From the looks of the damage to his undercarriage, it seems that he is no stranger to idiotic parking. I wonder how many other pieces of public property he has damaged with his "off-road" parking? The authorities should consider sending him a summons for blocking the fire hydrant.

The Kerb is meant to prevent cars from parking and it also allow firefighter better access with that platform there. Wonder will the authority take any action after seeing this?

ReplyDeleteIs it illegal for homeowners to park in their driveway but outside of their own gate, with their car sticking out into the road, the result being that they block the sidewalk (pavement)? Or is it just lack of consideration for the pedestrians like me whom they force to walk in the traffic to get around their cars?

If you take a look the picture, it seems that he/she parked in the right place because that area is cemented. However, it's near the fire hydrant. However the driver must be aware about his surroundings.
