080. Contributed by kurt dangle:

There is no carpark lot at the spot, but this Idiot driving a Grandis is oblivious that he is blocking the motorcyle lots by parking like this. This Idiot Parker should not be going to university! He should go back to learn basic courtesy in kindergarten.

Taken at NUS near the Engineering Canteen on 6 April 2006 at about 12:00pm.

You know what... we should come up with a sticker or flyer that says "I'm a parking idiot!" where we place them on the idiot's car and we take a pic for all of us to enjoy :D

why do you put the car plat number also.? isnt it unfair for the driver?

There are labels prepared already - you can view and print them - you can find the labels undert the Labels links on the right side bar.

The car plate numbers are displayed, 'cos we want the drivers to know that they have been caught doing something inconsiderate or hazardous - and want them to stop doing it. If we do not identify the car, there is no motivation to improve (the carrot and stick approach... mainly stick).

i found out that this parking idiot is a STAFF at NUS. Its no wonder the vehicle didn't get clamped. My friend parked nearby for less than an hour and he got clamped and fined S$100.

So I guess STAFF can get away with anything.

The Grandis probably belongs to some lecturer. Unlikely that any student would driver a full-sized MPV like that to campus ;p

The parking slots in the school is terribly limited and the security just go around clamping wheels of students' cars. The free carpark is bloody hell far away and what's the point of students driving and cannot drive to where they want and park? The school seriously should consider investing in carparks rather than more buildings.

9 out of 10 times you see this car in the engineering faculty, it's not in a proper lot.

i think he like plastic seats as well. his leather seat is still wrap in plastic after so long.

Come to think of it, there's not a single multi-storey carpark in the whole of NTU, is there? Indeed, they really ought to invest in one for goodness' sake ;p
