379. Contributed by Ah Pui:

This has to be the most selfish car driving idiot of the month. Not only did this moron park on a disability parking space, he had the nerve to actually occupy 2 of such lots! Even when the Expo authorities had placed cones to discourage illegal parking - this super inconsiderate jerk actually went and parked between the cones! What a selfish ass! A Class 1 Supreme Idiot!

blood moron. i hope some handicapped driver comes along and leaves a huge dent for him. and if possible, ruin his front and back bumpers too.

Anonymous said...

Even if he / she is a disabled person, there is no need to take 2 lots right?

what if a real disabled person comes along??

This moron driver is not only stupid but selfish as well

i would have boy hook or crook get it tow away

Wah.. so fierce.. You got camera but no handphone ah? Call the police la! Dun tell me you dunno the number? IDIOT!

Take photo then come here kaopeykaobu.

What proof you have that his not handicapped?

Anonymous said...

erm isnt there a blue disabled decal on the windscreen? :s22:

Anonymous said...

There *may* be the blue label but fact remains he occupied two lots! How's another blue labeled car gonna park? Although disabled, that's no reason to be selfish.

Anonymous said...

Y u all don't have a heart? People already disabled. Still curse the driver. What comes around goes around hor!!

Anonymous said...

If s/he's really handicapped, how do you expect him/her to remove the cones? No choice but to park between the cones unless s/he dares to use the car and 'push' the cones to the back.

Anonymous said...

If he/she is a handicapped, we can excused. If not, whacked that bloke until he/she becomes a handicapped, next time he has every reason to use such lots!

DK said...

I don't understand why they put the stupid cones there in the 1st place.

Anonymous said...

yeh .... why would the auth.o wanna put those bloody cones for .. if really a disable driver was to drive by , he still hv to brave the hassle of stepping out and remove the cone ... and without those bloody cones i think this driver in the pict would hv parked properly instead ....

Anonymous said...

Car looks to me to have a blue handicap sticker. I rather give this guy the benefit of doubt whereby he is a handicapped cos if he's not, he'd be in the right mind to remove the cones and park into one lot.

Anonymous said...

There is a blue icon on the windscreen to say that he/she is disabled. Blogger trying to be funny issit? U know y the person takes up 2 slot? Cause there are 2 cones over there. Dun expect a disabled person to remove the cones, do u? Think the authority nvr think of wat if a disabled person goes to expo. Know how to build parking slot for handicapped ppl but dun let them use.

Anonymous said...

Was just wondering, if these drivers ( those 'PIed' here ) saw their vehicle being posted and came up with a good excuse, will their picture be remove ... : )

*NOTE: i am not one of those 'PIed', better say first before some1 bombard me that i am one of those owner... hahahaa

cos, some of those pictures posted are marginal, example: Delivery man illegal park, i am not a delivery man but my colleagues are, for those who's in delivery will know what i mean, these delivery people have to go like 10 to 20+ places a day and it's not an easy living; at times when my car is block by a delivery vehicle, i will wait for them instead of horning and making a big fuss.

couple of days ago, saw a picture (private housing estate); those are again marginal, as parking lots are not provided at these estate.

I luv this site, it's funny and owner have done a good job. I will contribute a picture too if it really piss me off... hahahaha... eg, those that occupy 2 lots at a busy parking area. If the whole parking lot is kinda empty, think i will just skip that.

as for the expo, placing a cone there is stupid.

maybe all disable lot should have a barrier in front, and have LTA issue a sensor free ( for disable car ) to open it when it's near by. I think couple of thousand dollars for those large building owner & LTA should be 'chicken feet'... hahahahaa

for morons like this, i always like to leave down a sourvenir for them to remember by...

Disable can drive can? Some more 4 sitter car?
No need proof at all... Common sense pls..
No wonder SG need import PR..
Idiot all over....

Anonymous said...

hey ur email got prob?? i tried submitting but rejected :(

Anonymous said...

Why disabled cannot drive 4 sitter car? If cannot drive 4 sitter car then drive what car?

Don't make a fool out of yourself if you don't know that some disabled people can drive normal car.

Anonymous said...

The veh does not have a label, if it does, it will not be in this site liao....common sense lar...

The reason for expo to put cones there is to deter idoits like this...but guess the driver of this vehicle is the master of all idiots.

Anonymous said...

2 things you could have done:

1) Ask the security guards to tow it away.

2)Scratch his car and he will never ever make the same mistake again.

Anonymous said...

To 2 post above.Simi common sense? Maybe the one taking this foto dunno about the blue label. If u wan common sense, then I can say y security guard nvr come when its illegal. If u cant see clearly whether there is any label anot, dun put too much trust on the phototaker. The person might be dunno abt it or juz wanna play punk. To dunno how many post above. U nvr see disabled person drive car issit? Pls think b4 u type ok. If dunno dun kaykiang.

Expo carpark needs to use more cones to surround the handicap lots.

DISABLE CAN DRIVE ! My friend is paralyse waist down ... Yes he can drive! But he need to convert the accelerator/ brake to hand control instead of foot throttle/ brake. He has a 4 door car. He got his license b4 he was disbale; guess, it would not be easy for those who dont have one and try to pass it.

Driving is not a problem, but him coming in/ out of vehicle is a problem. After opening the door, he need to get the wheel chair real close, transfer himeself in and than dismantle the wheel chair and bring it part by part thru ( while he's in the driver seat )into the rear or front passenger seat. ( It's really 'hard labour'). At times, he will fall off and couldnt pick himself up and have to wait for passerby ( if there's any1 to help ) to pick him up. At times, reaching destination, while he is trying to bring his wheel chair 'parts' out, he drop it outside beyond his reach ... :( wow, really crying for help !!

Sometimes, those stupid cashcard parking where you still need to insert card for payment when you exit ( most carpark now auto sensor ), if he drop it beyond his reach, damn, he wouldnt be able to pick it up, that's why he has a couple for standby, in case he drop it.

The expo cone thing is stupid, imagine my friend coming out, remove the cone, go back in again and than repeat the whole process again after parking the car.

He's my old classmate, know him for more than 30+ years. When you go out with him and see his hassle than you will realise their difficulty. Those 'hard labour' do not just stop at the lots cos not alot of buildings are disable friendly.

So .... for us able people...
1. Do not park at those diable lots.
2. Better stay clear of those lot, they need a big door opening to get in.
3. If you get to see some cashcard lying at the exit barrier, chances are theirs : )
4. Lastly, hope that if you see any handicap getting into their car ( if they are alone ); not asking you to help but at least keep an eye on them, in case they fall off while trying to get in, your assistance will be of great help.

parkwell said...

i see a blue label but can't see whether it is handicap label or not... those who can tell... you got the CSI type of image enhancement software ah?

I guess the Singapore expo car park operator wanted to prevent abled bodied drivers from parking at these lots, but ended up blocking any bona fide disabled driver.

Maybe they should have a phone number for the disabled driver to call the car park attendants or security to remove the cones, clamp or remove the offending car, if any.

We are still some way from a gracious and understanding civic-minded people.

Clamp the bugger! Just like what NUS do to unauthorised/ illegal parking.

At first I though this site was great, but now I think it just disgust me.

I hope the owner of this blog at least have the decency to filter can check through the photos first before it is put up. What if the person who take the phot actually make a mistake? All the accusations or assumptions posted here wouldn't make things any better if YOU actually make the mistake!

I hope you take a closer look and some level of proof before you just post any photo.

parkwell said...

To anonymous of post #28 who said this: "I hope the owner of this blog at least have the decency to filter can check through the photos first before it is put up."

To be fair, no one can state for sure if the blue label is a handicap logo, and the handicap logo is generally found at the back window. Not possible for PI to verify every contribution.

Contributors should have verified and be careful where possible. We need to be responsible, especially since the licence plate is easily seen.

Some comments do tend to be over the top and excessive. PI has, at times, deleted very offensive posts. I thought that was decent of him (or her?).

Finally, it would be interesting to know if the spotters (people who spot such inconsiderate parking) do go the further step of alerting the car park management, be it HDB, URA and their agents, the private property car park management or building security?

Getting them clamped, served with ticket or towed away is a better deterrent than posting them on a blog. That way, it will result in less frustration for considerate drivers.

I am very sure got no Handicapped parking label, how i know, I was the one who took the picture.

For those who do not know what the label looks like, please go to this website http://www.aas.com.sg/services/disabled.htm

propark said...

Oh pls, there are some handicapp drivers who refuse to put their decals.

Their car plate has already been registered with URA/LTA, juz like your HDB carpark labels, you buy them but you dun need to display em. In any case if a parking officer try to summon, it will be registered back to them in their gadget whether the vehicle is valid or not!

Life's hand enough for them, Why should they even label their car disabled to show anyone? They are independent & need no pity from you. What you wan from them?! Stick their car with a huge handicap sticker all round?

Let them live their lives.

Anonymous said...

if they dun wanna stick the label after getting a label - then you shold no complain if people take photo and post on internet. If expect no sympathey, then dun park on handicap lot!!!!

annoymous said...

the handicapped label allows one to park in a handicapped lot without much fuss ...

if one chose not to display, it is up to one's choice ...

as one reader rightly say, if u do not display it ... pple will assume the worst ...

u cannot tell from the exterior of a car if the car is modified for a handicapped driver or used by handicapped person ...

that is why a label is needed to inform others ...

Anonymous said...

I recently stood next to a handicapped slot waiting for fren, when this young guy parked his vehicle there. Not handicapped, walked out and was gonna go pass me when I told him to be nice and move his car to another lot. I think he super pia seh.. haha!

Anonymous said...

Sticker label are for u to put n show others, nt to keep as hobby. There no point specially design parking lot for handicap if they dont stick the label on their car.

IF you dont wany pple to pity you, dont park ur car there at handicap lot.

Anonymous said...

This is what we call double handicapped.

Anonymous said...

seriously anyone saw the driver? is he really handicap ornot?

Anonymous said...

i will juz call LTA straight away n let the fellow to get a fine..

annoymous said...

to know how the handicapped labels look like:

http://www.aas.com.sg/services/Disabled2A.gif

parkwell said...

anonymous who took the pic and confirmed the guy got no label - thanks! i hope you also informed the car park people (Wilson parking?) to clamp the bugger.

as for propark's comments:

the labels are issued by AAS, and your comment on the URA/HDB season parking labels - not sure where u get your facts.

It is in theri interest to show the label because with the label, they are entitled to park at these lots without harassment.

Furthermore, if people see these bona fide handicap drivers park without labels, they would think - if they can, i also can. Eventually, the handicap drivers are not doing a favour to other handicap drivers.

sorry, propark... don't buy your logic.

folks,

SUBUTEX said...

folks,
maybe the driver of this handicapped lot is an undercover police agent, trying to catch people selling illegal software. this is a computer exhibition, right? or he is the illegal VCD seller who try to look pathetic, so people will buy.

sibei kuku undercover police... park in most conspicuous spot of carpark.. kena cover blown on idiot blog! hahahahah!!!

sibei kuku undercover police... :46 AM

that is why undercover agent make people believe they are really handicap. all the while this guy is trying to tell us he's handicap , so that is why he cannot shift the red cone himself, so squeeze in between.
or maybe the dirver is a real police, no time to wait for parking.

To park like this you must have two disable car label and you must have double handicap.

Anonymous said...

Ya.. didn't you know? The driver no hand no leg one. He's there to update his expired robotic limbs. They're malfunctioning.. IDIOT.

Anonymous said...

At first i tot this site is rather interesting, but the more i read on the post the more digusted I get. Dun deny there are real morons doing idiot parking everyday, everywhere.. but common' some of the guys here has turn this thread into a bitching market, laughin about others' grandmother, joking about ppl's handicapped. If u're such a saint urself, then i pray one day u get caught in ur own act.. then u know what it feels.

What right do we have to judge people? How much do we know? Some times, there might be a good reasons why it's park the way it shouldn't be... overall... it's more like bitchin and judgin on this website...

Who say guy dun bitch?

Anonymous said...

So you're say women bitches?

Hey!if you're disgusted then get lost bitch! Why care for these guys who get caught when they don't care about others when they anyhow park!

Miss Demeanour said...

And are u not judging us? Look at it this way....most of this cases are not "hit n run'. Those are emergencies. These morons have the time to get into the lot but they are just selfish. Most of the time they either take up a lot that is not designated for them or they take up 2 lots. They get caught and we comment. We dare. We're not like them. So, if ure not happy, move along pal. Go look see another site!

SUBUTEX said...

i like to add a little more form what Miss demenour said:

Go look see another site!
Now i suggest you the (writer at 8.01pm) go the the "Seseme Street site" of "Mickey Mouse" site and enjoy urself there.
alternatively, if u park like an idiot and get photo shot here, then its just too bad. ur lesson will begin.

SUBUTEX said...

i missed another point.
BTW, we do not make fun of handicapped people here. we are supporting their interest. Wwe are concerned of PIs who inconvenienced handicapped people who take their lots.

Is there any problem with the way we teach??
