This nut in a Merc parked in a disabled lot (the sign is covered by the car). And got summoned!!! The paper you see on his windscreen is the summons notice by Metro Parking. $103 for removal of wheel clamp - though, the photo contributor had not seen a clamp - perhaps Metro Parking was just trying to scare him. I say they should clamp all his four wheels and charge $103 for each clamp!

The driver of this Mercedes is bloody inconsiderate, depriving those handicapped driver of their parking lot. Just to share with you, if this happened in Israel, this car would be clamped and towed away to the town municipality compound. In order to retrieve the car, the offender has to pay a hefty fine, if I am not wrong is around S$1000. S$700 for removal of clamp and another S$300 for towing fee. Hope the relevant authority can consider and impose heavy penalty and teach those parking idiots an expensive lesson which they will never forget.

this is not about having a quickie...
rather it shows up as having a total lack of civic consciousness...
oh yeah, don't clamp the car.
Remove all 4 wheels instead.
the best way to punish errant parker like this is not only to fine them, but to wheel clamp the car and only unclamp it 5 hours after they have paid the fine.
to many of these errant parkers, they parked indiscriminately because they are lazy or just wanted to save a few minutes or simply don’t care. the best way to hit back is not only at their pockets but at their time.
trust me, after 5 hours of waiting, they would not do it for a long long time. (pun intended)
(of course, if one believe in karma, the more one wants to park at a handicapped lot, one will soon be able to park there legally ...
